ABROAD!

Do you wonder about the impact of an expatriation on your

professional and personal life?

as soon as possible?

Would you like to make the most of this experience?

Are you already planning your return or the next step?

Globe

When a person chooses to move abroad, there are many aspects to this project.
If it’s a family that takes this decision, the considerations will differ for each family member.

In most cases, the experience of international mobility proves to be extremely enriching with a largely positive outcome.
Nevertheless, the journey is sometimes punctuated by more difficult moments.

Professional support may be useful in such cases, and your expectations will differ depending on whether you are

the expatriate, i.e. the person who initiates this nomadic life,

or the expatriate's partner, i.e. the person accompanying him/her.

Expat Coaching facilitates your transition and contributes to

the success of your international mobility in all respects.

You are the EXPATRIATE

Whether you’re moving alone, as a couple or with children,

you will have many changes to tame and challenges to face!

On the professional side, you will have a new team to get to know, a new corporate culture to decode and achievements to deliver. Alongside the satisfaction of the work accomplished and the challenges taken up, this may also lead you to periods of questioning or doubts. Moreover, as international mobility contracts are often of a fixed duration, you may also feel some anxiety about the next step.

On the personal side, there is often an increased stress level resulting from the recent professional changes, a work-life balance that is sometimes difficult to maintain, and the management of difficulties that may be encountered by certain members of your family (which could also awaken feelings of powerlessness or guilt in you).

My coaching is therefore addressed to you if you wish to work on one of the following points:

  • Assume more serenely the advantages and disadvantages of your relocation

  • Learn how to set limits to preserve your work-life balance

  • Analyse your stress to learn how to prevent and regulate it

  • Anticipate and prepare the following steps of your professional career

  • Keep your motivation at its peak even in more difficult times

You are the EXPATRIATE'S PARTNER

If you are accompanying your partner in relocation,

you have undoubtedly been facing a significant change in the pace of life

After the rush of the departure and the intensity of the arrival in your new country,
you may be facing a certain "emptiness" after having settled in and supported the whole family...
You surely arrived lots of plans and good resolutions in mind,
but now you may be surprised by a certain inertia and lack of energy.
You wouldn’t be the only one feeling lost and confused in this situation...

In addition, you may also be worried about your professional career that has been temporarily put on hold.

My coaching will be beneficial if you need support in one of the following topics:

  • Decide whether or not to relocate thanks to a clear and structured thinking process

  • Anticipate the pleasant and less pleasant consequences and help each member of your family to prepare for the big departure – without forgetting yourself!

  • Adapt, reorganise and integrate socially as quickly as possible to make the most of your experience abroad

  • Take advantage of finally having some time to yourself to redefine your identity, strengthen your self-esteem and feel more serene

  • Identify the changes you need to make in order to achieve greater fulfilment

  • Use this career-break to dare to do something totally different such as launching your own business or starting a new project, even if temporary (=> also see the page about professional coaching)

  • Prepare your professional future in order to facilitate your return after your international experience

“Having enjoyed Laetitia's conference that I had attended, I decided to undertake an individual coaching with her because I had been thinking for a long time that I really needed to work on myself and my self-confidence. I had already relocated in 5 different countries, and even if I had been able to regain a certain balance each time,

my self-confidence had been put to the test.

This time, I felt a bit lost in my priorities but despite telling myself that all I needed was some will to cope with my life, I had to admit it wasn't working. So the coaching sessions turned out to be very beneficial! It wasn't easy at first to talk about myself, but it was worth it and it helped me a lot. Thanks again Laetitia for these sessions,

I won’t hesitate to recommend you!

Elena, for a better self-confidence

at her 5th change of country
